CAPT White has served at USEC for twelve months, during which time he has demonstrated leadership and skill in battle. A veteran of five operations, and over 50 combat missions, during which he has been awarded the Force Cross, two Bronze Stars (for Valor), and a Unit Citation. Always keen to lend his skills, he is a competent trainer and always involved in unit activities. Strong both on strategy and tactics, as well as general military knowledge, he has proved an asset both in the field and in the development of modifications as a source of knowledge. Well done on your lengthy distinguisghed service, Captain White.

Alex "Wolfie" White Awarded the Bronze Valor Star
During Combat operations of 17 January 2009, 1LT Alex Wolfie White, UX-501, as part of a five-man assault force came under heavy antiaircraft fire while behind enemy lines. This enemy action forced down a friendly AH-1Z Super Cobra and the fire team moved quickly to rescue the downed pilots and to secure the USEC asset. Nearby, the team secured an abandoned but largely intact KA-50 Hokum, despite enemy action to retake the aircraft. Outstanding airmanship combined with superb infantry field craft allowed the successful field repair and recovery of the downed USEC asset and the field repair, recovery and capture of the enemy KA-50. The team then withdrew from fire and returned all aircraft to the LHA. The fact that these soldiers reacted quickly to a situation while under fire and duress and came together to work as a team to accomplish a superb feat is what USEC is all about and reflects great credit on 1LT White, UX-511, and USEC at large.

Alex "Wolfie" White Awarded the Force Cross
LT White participated in Combat Mission 246 primarily as a sniper and troop member, in support of the Siege at Corazol. LT White was part of the team securing and defending a makeshift base established in the city, to prevent the passage of an enemy task force group through the area. During his efforts, he was able to decisively defend the area, through the judicious use of both anit-air and troop weaponry, holding the area sometimes single-handedly until further assistance arrived. The defensive area was divided into three points (P1, P2, and P3) along the front, stretching some 200 meters through central Corazol. LT White and others were required to regularly shift their positions along this line to harass enemy forces and prevent their passage through the no-mans-land established along the front. USEC forces came under some of the most intense and sustained fire ever experienced in a non-operational mission, and during the ensuing firefights LT White demonstrated exceptional bravery and skill. During the mission he recorded an official tally of 77 kills. In accordance with Standing Orders 4.2.5(b) LT White is awarded the Force Cross, for demonstrating exceptional bravery in a non-operational mission.

USEC personnel deployed to OP GREEN FIELD have shown extraordinary effort, dedication, and skill, in the achievement of the mission to secure the city of Bagango in Sahrani Island. In particular, the fencing of the entire city behind perimeter fencing, and the placement of AI squads along this perimeter, has allowed the city to remain unattacked for a period of seven days. Well done all on this outstanding achievement. This unit citation is awarded to all members of UX501, and those who were attached to UX501, in support of OP GREEN FIELD. Members must have participated in a mission, and have logged in to receive their campaign ribbon, in order to qualify for this citation.
